Setting Up Your Account to Process Payments
To enable payment processing for invoices and appointment booking within Spark.Clinic, you are required to connect your company's Stripe account. Additionally, we suggest adding your bank details to facilitate invoicing if you accept payments via direct bank transfer.
How Do You Connect your Stripe Account?
- Navigate to Clinic Management, then select My Chambers.
- Choose your chamber from the list and select Manage Chamber.
- Now Click the Connect Stripe Account button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to log in and connect your Stripe account.
Linking your Stripe account means that your patients can pay you by card directly in to your Stripe account. You will be able to track your invoices directly in Spark Clinic.
Sharing Your Bank Details
- Navigate to Clinic Management, then select My Chambers.
- Choose your chamber from the list and select Manage
- Now Click The Toggle "Show Bank Details On My Invoices To Allow Bank Transfers"
- Add your bank details
- Add any notes or terms that you wish your patients to read alongside the invoice. eg. "Use the invoice number as the payment reference. Ignore any invoice reminders if received within 72 hours of a payment having been made."
When patients pay via bank transfer to your bank account, you will need to manually change the status in Spark Clinic for the paid for invoice after confirming receipt of payment in your bank account. If invoices are left open, patients will continue receiving payment reminders.
